Technique Idea – Stretch those Supplies!
Do you try and look at your supplies with ‘different’ eyes sometimes? This is something I try and do often, it really makes sense to get more ideas and use from them other than just use them the way they were intended. For example, today I used the Sweet Greetings Set to create these unique hot foiled patterened leaves. I think it adds a modern and fun design feature, I’d love to know if you agree?
This is quite a ‘busy’ card for me. I started with a die-cut background using the Garden Trellis Cover Die and this added a little extra pattern but by keeping it white on white I don’t think it’s too overpowering. Next, I ink-blended this sweet bird using some light colours and added a branch for him to stand on.
The great thing about the hot foiled sentiments is that they also coordinate dies from the Sweet Greetings Add-On Die Set.
