Do you ponder over a stamp set wondering what to create? Today I share with you the second of
4 cards, giving you ideas and inspiration to stretch your stamps. I am using the Peekaboo Party Animals Set from Ellen Hutson. But, you could certainly change up these designs to suit the stamps you have on hand. I thought I would give you 4 technique ideas over the next few weeks to inspire you, did you see my first technique HERE?
And here is the star of the show, the Peekaboo Party Animals Set!
Technique #2 – Setting a Scene!
This set is made so that the critters can Peekaboo with the balloon, but why not change it up and use other images to create some fun scenes. I chose to float this cute little bunny on some clouds!

PRO TIP: Don’t have the right colour you want for a background, simply blend some ink to create your own coloured cardstock.

I added a sentiment from the Sending Love Set and now we have a baby card.

Let me know in the comments below if you like to ‘create scenes’ on your cards? And if you try this technique I’d love you to share them with me! Where do you think I may go next with this set?

Also, just in case you want to do a little shopping I’ve added the links below (some of them are affiliate links which means that I will receive a small portion of the sale at no extra cost to you). I truly appreciate your support!

Sooo cute, Therese – you know I forgot to replace my Mint to Be ink with the newer Wintergreen – wonderful with the pinks you added today!
=]
Nothing like a bit of pink to add some spark lol!
I haven’t done any scene cards but your latest cards and video definitely make me want to try it! Thank you!
Creating a scene can be such fun, and it doesn’t have to be complex either lol.
Wonderful card, love how you used the bunny and that beautiful colour card stock from blending the ink, perfection
Yes, I forgot that I blended that background… it’s totally thanks to the large Altenew blending tools, before that it was hit and miss lol.
Therese, you always rock the cute critters cards. This clever one with the bunny popping out from behind the card is so fun! I do like to make scene cards but I tend to get a bit too detailed- I always admire how you’re able to keep it simple but no less fabulous!
Thank you so much Stef, nothing wrong with details. My problem is that when I do try and add more ‘stuff’ it looks like too much and so I take it away… I can spend hours doing this lol.
Lover your little bunny peeking out from the cloud. once again thanks for the tips !
Marie
Yay! Thank you Marie!
Love this bunny popping out from behind the cloud, so sweet! Darling card, Therese!
There are so many ways to add critters to cards, why not add a floating bunny lol.
So adorable and gorgeous colours!
Thank you so very much Jen x
You make that seem so easy. This design could make a great birth card news ,thank you x
So glad you like it Andrea!
