Don’t like to stamp? Don’t worry, with the incredible dies that are now available it’s EASY to meet this challenge… but there are also many more ways to step up your NoN Stamped cards…
So join me as I play in my LIVE video which you can see right HERE.
#NOSTAMPINGALLOWED
There are MANY ways to create cards without stamping and my card has 5 different ideas alone! But before I share them with you here are more options; Backgrounds – Alcohol Ink, Embossing Folders, Cover Dies / Washi Tape / Quilling / Tole Pictures – fussy cutting / Paper Folding – ie Origami / Sewing – ie decorating with DMC floss / Interactive cards such as Shakers, Fun Folds and Pop-Up cards just to name a few!
Idea #1 – Stencil
I created a very subtle tone on tone stencil background, I knew this was going to be a busy card for me and this is one way to add a little something without overdoing it. But if it’s more drama that you want, then you can make a bold stencil background, or even use a layered stencil for a fab effect.

Idea #2 – Hot Foil
To add my sentiment I decided to use a Hot Foil Die with some opaque white foil. But there are other options for a NON stamped sentiment, why not add a die-cut word or use letters to create your sentiment… or you could use a pre-printed sentiment strip, they are handy for a quick and easy sentiment fix.
Idea #3 – Die Cuts
This idea was the obvious one to me. With the number of die cuts available to us, the choices are numerous. I added some sweet layered flowers but decided to take it up a notch…

Idea #4 – Design Paper
And I did that by using Design Paper for one of the layers in the flowers. If you prefer to skip this step then a little ink blending goes a long way to step up a simple die cut flower design.
Idea #5 – Embellish!
However you like to do it, a scattering of sequins, rhinestones, pearls or enamel dots can go a long way in a card design, and YES, no stamping was required 😉.

Now, I don’t want you to stress, I still have a HUGE love for my stamps and always keep them close, but it has been a fun challenge for me.
Let me know in the comments below if you are going to challenge yourself to a NO Stamped card design!

I agree, it makes my day to hang out with my friends crafting. And it’s been an extra delight having cards inspired and shared with me too!
That little bit of plaid on your flowers kicks up the cuteness factor a notch! Delightufl card, Therese!
Thank you Lisa, so happy you like it!
