My Quick Tips for Masculine Cards!
- Keep it Clean & Simple
- Use bold bright colours / or a muted colour palette
- OR how about the colours of their fave sports team!
- Use non sparkly embellishments such as enamel dots or Nuvo Drops.
- Images such as balloons, candles, stars, camping, sports, drinks, fishing etc work a treat
- Take it a step further and make it interactive, an action wobble is perfect for this.
And today I have 3 Fun & Easy Men’s Birthday Cards to share, to kick off your inspiration, starting with…
Card #1 – Stenciled Hooray!
This stencil is awesome. The letters are separate so they can easily be arranged in any design to suit your project, but also, in any combination of colours too!
BONUS IDEA: Wouldn’t each letter look wonderful blended in 2 different colours of ink!
Card #2 – Bunch of Balloons
This bunch of balloons may look like it took forever to create but the stencils are cleverly designed to combine all of the images ready to go on 2 stencils. **Imagine this design in some bold bright colours!
A die cut sentiment here really helped to make it pop.
Card #3 – High Five
A quick step away from the stencils and onto another quick and easy idea. This turnabout stamp made light work of creating this fun background using the same colours as in the stencil designs for the first two cards.
PRO TIP: It’s like creating your own design paper in the perfectly coordinating colours (no more hoarding lol)!

Awesome live and loved the three cards. Still really like that turnabout stamped card. Though the ballon card with the splatters is pretty stunning too. Great ideas all round. That star is perfectly placed on the first card!

Yay! So glad you were inspired. My husband had his birthday this month and he recieved one of the ‘lure’ cards that I made and I think he liked it lol.
You do have a way with those manly cards, my friend! It was a blast watching them come to life right before our eyes! Each is so fun – and there are those extra bits that I mentioned – love the star, dots and splatters, too!

Um not sure I wouldn’t hoard my on designed pattern paper (I’m pretty sure I have some from ages ago I couldn’t find the “right” project for hehehe!)

Such super cards and beautiful colouring and stenciling I simply adore the second card the colour pallette is amazing and perfect for anyone but certainly fantastic for the males in our life.
