Have you ever played roulette with cards? The wheel was spun… but was it kind?
Would you like to see my card, and the 4 parameters?
I was so happy to see you at the show, but if you did miss it don’t worry, you can watch the replay. And watch Mary & I, use these parameters to create 2 very different cards right HERE.
If you don’t have a clue what I am talking about, you can find out ALL about Craft Roulette right HERE.
Do you think the wheel was kind? I was just happy that there were no robots or purse cards to deal with. But, I’d love to know, what you could do with these…
- Project – A7: I was thinking A7 not much movement there (let’s face it, it’s nearly a scrapbook page, but creating a large border certainly helps narrow the working space down a little). And if this was my ‘worst’ parameter then I am not unhappy.
- Colors – Hippie: This was a good one. Soo many options, from neon, brights, tie-dye (Woodstock), combinations of dirty oranges, browns and blues… think of those old kitchen tiles or what about that orange and brown carpet?
- Element – Island(s): I liked this too (although it wasn’t the flower I was after 🌺) but, I did consider creating something with hibiscus flowers.. except on an A7 background with time constraints, it would have been more white space than flowers. So I went, classic, with blended sandy hills and palm trees. Other options could be treasure maps, a Combi van (especially with the ‘hippie’ color combos), ocean scenes such as lighthouses and sandy beaches.
- Random – Wood: This was perfect to accompany the ‘island’ theme. Palm trees were the obvious choice for me, but it could be a wood boat, wooden stump, branch, wooden treasure chest, wood design paper used as a background or die-cut with letters into a sentiment.

I may not have ‘won’ any of the spins with the parameters that I wanted 😢, but I do think that Mr Wheel was very kind to me this time round. And, the parameters work really well together, so I am excited to see what cards are dropped into the gallery.
If you get a chance I’d love to see how you are inspired to make a card, and if you do, please share it with me so I don’t miss it. And, if you are not a member at Craft Roulette you only have until Sunday night to get your cards uploaded HERE, so get those skates on!

Cute card under pressure – well done!
Thank you my friend, I am always nervous because no prep can really be done other than look at the parameters and think about what I may use if a specific one came up… and there wasn’t many flowers in there lol.
Your card is beautiful Therese! You were great! 💞
Yay! Thank you Bev, it was a little nerve wracking as usual, but I they are such fun!
You knocked that out PERFECTLY! Love it.
no pressure right! lol. You should go on Lisa, you’d be amazing!
Oh, my friend, I had NO concerns that you wouldn’t ‘survive’ and your card proves that! So sorry I wasn’t able to hang out with you! I’m off to watch a bit of the replay now… thanks for all the cheats on what to use for the parameters! Ha!
=]
I did see you there my friend and it gave me the boost I needed!
I love the concept of Craft Roulette but I take too long to come up with ideas. You on the other hand nailed it, Therese. Even now that I know the parameters and have time to think about them, my mind isn’t telling me a thing.
hahaha I totally get that Bobby, I’m sure that there is something… some tropical flowers or monstera leaves in neon pink/ bright green… with a branch (maybe I need to make another card lol) Good luck!
Your were one cool cucumber under the pressure just like this little fella! I don’t know where he is, but that’s where I want to go! Cute card, Therese!
You are more than welcome to come share my beach with me… although maybe make it next week, we have a cyclone on the way!
Such awesome creation, the colouring is immense and magnificent, you’re so talented! hugs xx
You are so sweet Angellica, thank you x
