Sometimes I’m in the mood to keep things really clean and simple – and today was definitely one of those days. Because when I’m playing with seriously cute products, the inspiration comes easily!

Clean and Simple Die Cut Cards

Clean and simple cards are all about letting the design shine – keeping things minimal so your focal point really stands out. It’s amazing how just a few well-placed die cuts can create a sweet card.

As promised I have more inspiration from my friend Carly Tee’s gorgeous new Beary Sweet release.

Card #1 – Hugs Shaker Window Card

For this card, I created a shaker using the shadow die from the hugs sentiment as a window. I inlaid the die cut over the acetate and filled it with bright shaker balls for a fun pop of color.

I kept the design really clean, letting the focal point shine and embracing the white space (or in this case… pale turquoise space!) so the shaker detail really stands out. To finish, I added a couple of sweet butterflies from the kebab set for a little extra interest.

Card #2 – Strawberry Kebab Die Cut Card

For this card, I kept things super clean and simple, using two sticks of strawberry kebabs as the focal point. Sometimes just a couple of elements is all you need to create a sweet and playful design!

With a design this minimal, balance becomes really important. I left plenty of open space around the images and positioned them carefully so the card still feels complete while letting the details shine.
