Craft Roulette Card
Craft Roulette is a live cardmaking challenge where four random parameters are spun on the wheel, then the guest has to create a card using all four. And then the challenge is handed over to you if you want to join. Make sure to check out how other crafters were inspired by these parameters in the gallery.

My Card: How I Interpreted the Parameters.
Let’s start with the Not-quite-a-Joyfold. Who even knew there was such a fun fold as Joyfold? I must have been living in the dark, but I can now say that I have a new fun-fold technique to add to my list… for next time. 😉
… and crossed fingers, I am hoping I can be forgiven, because the design I acutally made is an Overlapping Gatefold.
Moving forward…
I quite liked the Dusty Hues parameter and chose to color some pretty flowers in muted pinks, greens and yellows. The color choice was made even easier because one of the pink tones is literally called Dusty Pink.
As for Starts with ‘K’, that took me the longest to find. I thought sentiments with the word kind would be everywhere in my stash, but eventually I found a small one and heat embossed it on a black background to make it stand out.
And finally, Torn Paper. This was probably my least favourite parameter. I like the look of torn paper on projects, but it’s not something that usually feels at home with my clean and simple style.
So, let me know what you think – does it work here on my stenciled inside panel? I’m wondering whether adding a green background to the centre back panel might help it feel a little more intentional.
This was such a fun challenge, even if my Joyfold went a little rogue. 😂
