It’s November and time for another Print Candee Blog creation! The theme is ‘Holidays’ and kinda appropriate for this time of year. I am busily working on my Xmas card stash and there are so many wonderful products to choose from at Print Candee. I have used this amazing Paper Pack created by VN Digital Art and combined it with the Woodland Creatures Clipart by Sparrow Graphics. What I like about these is the versatility, they make the perfect Xmas card but are not specifically for Xmas. I love it if I can ‘multi purpose’ a product!

Here I go with the Print Candee digital stamps again! They are so addictive… I have a friend’s birthday soon and this Bella is perfect for her! There it is, my favourite blue green, but you can’t blame me, I was inspired by the current challenge inspiration from Jay Gee’s Nook. It was the colours, and the cakes, and the little rose buds…. loved it all! I also thought this would be a perfect entry for the LilyPad Cards Simon Says Bling challenge… too easy!

Hi everyone, well I finally immersed myself in a full day of card making and I’ve had a mountain of fun. Everytime I visit Print Candee I find something else amazing…. it makes my decisions very difficult. Anyway after much clicking and ooohing and aaahhhing I decided to use these wonderful images from Pink Pueblo and Print Candee! They are super easy to use and print like a dream! The theme for the Creative Team this month is to create ‘a gift for you’. I wanted to make a gift card set and was inspired by THIS wonderful creation by the very talented Marion. I followed THIS very easy tutorial by Debby, she is a master of CAS and is such an inspiration. Are you ready for… the photo extravaganza?

These Lawn Fawn stamps are just too cute, I just love those wonderful puns! I am also a sucker for a one layer challenge and couldn’t miss out on this weeks Lawnscaping Challenge, so out came the masking paper and Copics! I’d better go now and see what everyone else has been making, so little time, so many blogs to visit!

I decided to combine these two challenges in the one post as the cards I made are very similar. I was playing with the May ‘freebie’, yes you heard me right, it was a free digi image from Paper Smooches & just how cool is it! My first card I made for the CAS-ual Friday Challenge which is to Bring on the Bling! What girl can resist a bit of bling…

Can I tell you something funny? The other day I was sitting at my desk making cards (yes, I know that’s hard to believe!) and my husband was sitting talking to me and says with a most serious face “haven’t you got enough stuff?…” It was hard for me not to start rolling around on the floor laughing, but my response to him was, “haven’t you got enough kayaks?…” and then the world continued on.
Now onto the cards, (please scroll down for the PDCC) I thought I would combine this post as the cards are similar, and I couldn’t help myself but make more than one! I haven’t played with this Pink Petticoat image for a while, but the sundaes came to mind when I saw the current challenge at Jay Gee’s Blog. I am combining this with the CASE Study Challenge (CSC38) this week, where the new Muse is Sarah Martina Parker. I also wanted to get out my pencils after seeing this tutorial over at Shari’s blog, and I thought that these would look a little more vintage than Copics.

I definitely had to join this weeks Play Date Cafe Challenge, as I am still reeling over my win last week. This will be a thank you card for a wonderful friend who we stayed with recently in outback Western Australia (you can see some photos HERE if you are interested). I also did make my light box today… now I just need some lights…

This is a card I made for a work colleague who has had major surgery, just to let him know that we are all thinking about him & hopefully put a little smile on his face. This is a pre-coloured downloaded image (from a card program) that I just topped up with one of my favourtie things… Copics. I loved the recent Clean & Simple sketch sooo much that I thought it was a perfect opportunity to use it again!

Okay so it’s another Pure Innocence image – but just how cute are they! I wanted to join in the current Play Date Cafe Challenge and thought I would use the Clean & Simple FTL sketch to do this. What a fun mix of colours!
For this inspiration from There She Goes I thought I would keep the lines clean & simple as well as make use of those wonderful colours. I have been wanting to colour these Pure Innocence images for a wee while now & thought it would be a perfect time as it is my niece’s birthday very soon.

So I’ve been playing with the Copics & loving them! I made a few versions of this card, but I have to say that I like the pink cake the best. This is my entry for the current Copic Oz LOVE Challenge.
Not sure if you have noticed but I have been a little off the radar lately. I promise it’s been for a good reason, we recently sold & bought a new house. So with Christmas, working full time shiftwork, fab family visiting, moving house & some wonderful friends over from the UK, things have been, in two words… flat out! The BEST thing about ‘the move’ is that I now have a fabulous large workspace which is light & airy as opposed to my old house which was dark & moody (not so good for card making). No no no, I don’t have much stuff… that is, I thought I didn’t… until I started to pack it up & move it! (don’t tell my husband) all I have to do is set it up again… I thought it appropriate that I share this card with you – they are quite funky houses, don’t you think?
Supplies; Paper: Bazzill Cardstock – Kraft, Two Peas in a Bucket – Home Is Where The Heart Is (Digital Download), Two Peas – This Year Grid Papers (Digital Download). I thought I would just share a card that I have made for a wonderful friend of mine who is turning 40 (don’t look yet Jack!). She just loves a ‘bit of Bling!’, and what could be more ‘blingful’ than a Glitterball in the spotlight! This Sassy Studio image was fun to colour although I did have to play with her hair as I wasn’t sure what colours to use to make a luscious redhead… So here’s to you Jackie, have the most wonderful birthday ever! xx
This is for a fellow blogger who is having an operation. Linda is the one who encouraged me to start my own blog (…you can tell my husband it’s all her fault!). Linda, I hope you’ll be in the best of health again soon and then you can spend your ‘recovering’ time making some more fabulous cards!

Okay, so I wanted to try ‘feathering’ with Copics & what better place than on a bird! There is a challenge at Copic Oz which also includes a feathering tutorial. I also thought I would create a card that I could enter into the current Caardvarks Holiday Die Cuts Challenge. This is when I decided that I need to get me some fancy bauble die cuts… but I had to settle with what I’ve got and went for the Nesties instead, but with a wreath twist. Don’t ya just love Mo’s Images, they are just soooo much fun to colour!

TSG is having another Colour Challenge, and the colours scream Halloween, but I was thinking of something completely different… Obviously! Bold, Bright & a Bow. When I finished it I was wondering if it may have just been a little too bright?
So this will be just a quick post to enter this card into this weeks challenge at Sassy Studio Designs, Dare to be Sassy #41. It’s breast cancer awareness month & the colour is pink… so why not make it bright!

I have been meaning to make some pet sympathy cards for a while now, I think they are a great idea and they are hard to find. Of course I didn’t make them until today when I needed one for a work friend. Her cat has been very sick recently and finally lost her battle. I tried to make this card a little cheerful, this digital stamp is just too cute & I hope it makes her smile (my cat is getting lots of cuddles today…. much to her disgust).

So I wasn’t particularly happy with my entry to the Scrapbook Boutique Colour Challenge. I thought I could do better. This is my second attempt. Not quite so pastelly (not sure if there is such a word), I think it’s better. Hope you like it! Of course I made 2 versions, this also seems to be my current trend, my theory being that I have already made a mess, so why not make the most of it. Here is where you can find this digital download Isabella’s Sketchbook (thanks Marion).
