Something a little bit different today for Purple Onion Designs. I’ve been ‘needing’ a book mark for ages and finally decided that I’ve just gotta make it. I had heaps of fun watercolouring with my Distress inks and couldn’t think of a sweeter image to use than Sunny Blooms.
Today I’m sharing a fun die cutting technique for Scrapbook Boutique, what a great way to use up some nice bright ‘scraps’ of cardstock, which if you are anything like me, hate to throw away.
I’m kinda stuck on Day 3 here, but loving it. My visitors have deserted me and now instead of cleaning the house after camping, working etc I am having some fun in my crafty space (wink). So today it’s another Optical Illusion and this one is masking, one of my fave techniques, I did do a little embellishing though and guess what? It’s gold, I know I know, but it’s addictive.
Hello – DetailHello
I say I’ll be back real soon with another Card Class installment so until then, have a great one!
Other Supplies: Prima Wood Veneer – Birds & Butterflies. Gold sequins.
Well class is still on and now it’s Optical Illusions and today I thought I would start with Scenic Stamping. I promise I really did try and make it ‘more water coloury’ but it just wasn’t going to happen, I think it’s the branches are so dark that I had to add more colour to my girl so she didn’t get lost… now we wouldn’t want that now would we?

Hope you are having as much fun on this course as I am, I’ll be back again real soon.
This gorgeous challenge at Runway screamed elegance to me, so go figure why I decided to make a masculine birthday design, might have something to do with the fact that it’s my hubby’s birthday today and also that I came across this awesome Ferro Effect Paste (that I had ‘ahem’ purchased but not used yet), doesn’t it look all metallic and glittery.

This month it’s a choice, you can either use the theme Halloween OR the colours PurpleOrange & Black.
I decided to play with the colour challenge…. not much call for Halloween cards in my house (although there is always something sweet to eat lol). I made my own striped paper using Copics and I love how the hat turned out.
