Heya, back from camping and off to work today after literally a ton of washing.  I have a quick share as a lot of ‘behind the scenes’ work is going on in my crafty space…  sounds exciting doesn’t it!  I hope you like my fluffy clouds, I was lucky to have this card published with the Australian Cardmaking Stamping & Papercraft magazine for their clouds feature.

Embossing with Dies at Addicted to Die Cutting!

This week’s technique  for my Addicted to Die Cutting series is a fun one and seriously a great way to get more from those dies.  It’s embossing with dies, kinda like creating your own diffuser!

My very wonderful blog friend Marion suggested when I met her last year that we should do a ‘little challenge’, what a fantastic idea I said.  Well that was June last year and life kinda got in the way….   until now.  So she spent a whole 3 minutes on Pinterest and came up with this photo for inspiration, oh WOW!

I wanted some flat bottomed clouds and dang nab it, I was going to have them…..   so I’ve got a technique video to share with you today on how to partial die cut, it’s such a great way to get more from your dies…   much better than rushing out and buying more, just ask my husband.

Yaaaay, I’ve finished my course and now I am an Advanced Life Support Instructor, but sadly that means that I’ve had no time to make any cards, although today I’m making cards like crazy I can’t share them with you…   yet.   So I thought I would share another card that I had published where the inspiration was to use woodgrain.  Here is a card where I had some fun using cork, I was inspired by the most talented Chunyuan (thank you soo much)!

I couldn’t resist but to play along with the current Speech Bubble Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.  Perfect timing Cath, with my new ‘wood veneer’ obsession which is kindly being helped by Studio Calico I just had to have this sweet speech bubble set.  I’m not sure why, but I actually covered this wood veneer with wood grain paper… go figure.

Friday Feature at AnnaBelle Stamps… an Easter Baby?

Doncha just love getting more out of your stamps…   the DT were asked to use any of the Easter sets for this weeks Friday Feature and I decided to make some baby cards instead…  using the Easter sets (Insert cheesy grin here).   How totally cute are these chicks, and the dies are perfect, they even cut out the little legs haha!
