Hi there, today I have a focus post for Altenew and that means you get to see three cards all created using the same stamp set. It’s another fab layering flower set which we know Altenew does so well, this one is called Remember This.
For my first card (and video) I was inspired by this card HERE created by Lisa Johnson, she is amazing and I’ve had this card pinned on my board for ages and purposely didn’t look at it before I started creating as I wanted to create my own version…. there are still lots of similarities though, but how do you improve on perfection. Thanks Lisa for the inspiration.
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

Here’s my next card, I thought I would go for a vintage style look,
For my final card I couldn’t stop adding gold…
So why not head over to the Altenew blog for some more info on these cards as well as lots more inspiration from the rest of the team with this fabulous new release. ps. the products are linked below. Hugs,

Just in time… Merry Christmas to you all! If things have gone to plan (ie a 7 hour drive Christmas eve with no hiccoughs) I am now at my brother’s enjoying a lovely relaxing Chrissy by the pool and enjoying some great food and bubbles.
Todays cards were published in the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine for the ‘Just in Time’ feature where the call was to create two similar cards, one that was easy and one more detailed. Me? I like the clean and simple one.
Hope your day will be as fun as mine, big hugs and wishes to you and yours,
Other Supplies: Cardstock AC’s – Sand, Coffee. Queen & Co Pearls – Classy Red / Sunflower Yellow. DMC Gold thread.
Today at Scrapbook Boutique I’m sharing how you can use a ‘collection kit’ to create some beautiful and simple to make, Christmas cards. All the guess work is taken away because everything co-ordinates wonderfully! This new collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio called ’tis the Season’ is both traditional and modern and has heaps of goodies that can be used all year round. Today I share with you how to make 6 quick and easy cards using this kit!

A quick share today as I am away camping at the beach, hope you are having a great weekend too! (had too much fun making this card, who doesn’t love a shaker)
ps. this was a fun photo to take…. first of all, a black based card, add embossing, add foil elements and the battle of photographing acetate lol.
Other Supplies: DMC – Gold Thread. Mill Hill – Glass Seed Beads 00557. Dazzles – Crystal Stars. Magic Mount – Black 2mm mounting foam.
I have a quick share today. I thought these notched tags would make a fun diecut within a diecut which was the call for the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine.
See you again soon, I’ll be back with a TAWS video on Sunday!
Other Supplies: Rhinestones – Red / Aqua / Heart. Yellow hemp twine.
Something a little different for me today. Sometimes I really struggle to get that nice ‘baby pink’ when I use Copics or pencils so decided to get out the blender pen with my Angel Pink Memento Luxe, and the colour is perfect! I filmed as I created for you to watch.
You can see my video here or Watch it at Youtube.

I made these cards months ago as they were for a publication call with the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine, but I think they are my favourite Chrissy cards for this year. I really like the simplicity of the first and then the bokeh colours, well they kinda make me smile, especially with the shimmer of the sequins. I hope that today you find a smile and get to spend some time with some fun people and of course eat-a-plenty!
(For this call we had to make a card that had two versions one that was simple and easy to reproduce and a more complex version for special friends & family)
Hope you have a wonderful day, whatever it is that you are doing,
Hugs & Love
Other Supplies: Clear & Pink Sequins
Having some fun today making a monochromatic card (does a pink nose count?) using some sweet Penny Black products, a little different to my usual style but I thought it would make for a sweet baby card.
