Happy Day!

I’ve had a busy day….   started by buying a car and now I’m cooking a Christmas pudding for a Christmas in July party this Saturday!  So while the pud is bubbling I thought I would  make a quick card for a couple of challenges.  Today is the first time I’ve had a real chance to play with some Washi Tape, and isn’t it just sooo much fun!   Here’s a card that I made for the new CASology challenge where the inspiration is the word ‘Happy’.   I’ve combined it with A Blog Named Hero where their challenge is to  choose a Hero Artist and get inspired….  I chose Sally Traidman who made this fabulous card HERE, LoVe it!  Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Eeek! I LOVE IT! You jumped right into the washi pool 🙂 Love how it looks done in a banner, and yep, it calls out HAPPY loud & clear!
And Christmas in July…I suppose it’s cooler for cooking those things for you now – makes sense. I’d become a big fan of the Christmas pool party 🙂

  2. The sweetest card Therese. You know my love affair with bunting! Can you believe that I have just ordered my first lot of washi tape the other day as well? I NEED to check out what the hoo-haa is all about…and can’t wait for it to arrive now that you have shown me another way to use it! Sweet-as card Therese!

  3. Wow Christmas is July sounds really fun! And I must admit I am so behind on the washi tape bandwagon (I’ve admired it for years, but never thought I’d know what to do with it) that i don’t even have one roll! Haha Pathetic. Love what you did with this card – the cloud background is just amazing. Great technique!
