Today I have a video up at the Scrapbook Boutique blog, and the day I made this ‘cool’ card the heat was stifling, maybe I was dreaming of cooler things. I decided to film as I created so you could watch the process, no tricks today, but some simple die, cutting, stamping and Copic colouring….
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at Youtube.

Such a fun card, Therese! I love the negative die cut, and how you placed this adorable penguin…so CUTE!!!
I can already feel cool breeze as this little fellow whooshes past on his snowboard or maybe that’s my air con lol if only Melbourne was a tad cooler! Stay cool and have a lovely day. Cheers Donna Z 🙂
Love your card, Therese! Darling pattern paper you created and I love watching you color. I’m jealous of your heat wave; here in Chicagoland it’s 17 degrees.
Love this – so cool! We’re on the same wavelength with the ‘because’ die – I’ve used it for my Jan 18 card/video too – well who can resist hey – it’s a beauty lol. Have an awesome day love 🙂
love how he is surfing off the dotted part – super sweet!
Love that you used those little dots to create your background Therese – they are totally cool! Well done you for attempting (so well) colouring on the hottest of days – I must admit I too had a card to make in 36C and opted out of colouring using only die cuts instead! I’m a wimp obviously!
What fun colors! Love your design!
What a unique penguin! Very sweetly colored and a FUN background! Thanks for sharing your ideas here!
Such a fun and “cool” card! I love the dotty background!
So cute Therese. I love how you stamped your background. I really thought it was dp. Love your colors and how you used the word die.
Super cute and fun, I love all the polka dots!
I LOve what you’ve done with your darling boogie-board-er! Off to watch how he should be colored – I made such a mess of him =\
Snow very cute!! (sorry, couldn’t help it…) What a fun card, Therese! Great penguin image and I’m loving the cool-colored polka dots. And if you’d like, I’ll trade you twenty of your degrees for twenty of ours… ; )
Oh this is just Darling Therese!
I just love this card! The colors you used are so cheerful. I have that stamp set , but haven’t used it yet. Thank You for sharing , Therese
Beautiful background paper Therese and I especially love the colours.
Your card is soooooooo happy. The colors, cute penguin, love background you made. Excellent.
So cute, Therese. I love the background you created and how the little penguin looks like he’s sailing off the end of the word.
Super cute. Could have done with some of that coolness last week! Such a great penguin.
Oh my, this is adorable!!
Love this card!!
Loving the pretty dotty background in those contemporary colours 🙂
Gorgeous colours and such a sweet card! It’s so hard to craft when it’s so hot isn’t it – even with air con. It’s the humidity that zaps my creativity! Anyway it doesn’t seem to effect your creative flow – beautiful as always:)
Cute and so fun, Therese … that dotty background is fabulous with your swooshing-off-the-edge penguin! Hugs, Anita 🙂
So cute! Love the look on that penguin’s face! 🙂
I’m amazed by every card you make Therese. They are always inspiringly beautiful!
Very cool penguin indeed!
