Hi there, I am back with another set of cards in my Same But Different Christmas Card Series for 2017. And, right now it’s time for ‘The Cats of Christmas’, this makes me so happy lol.
Here we gooooo……………
I totally focused on one paper pad, but the cats came from everywhere.
Using the papers made the cards look a little more complicated than they really are and because they are from the same paper pad, they coordinated purrfectly.
I coloured all my images with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut them out.
Love the added sparkle on these papers.
Most sentiments were white heat embossed to help them pop.
and who doesn’t love a speech bubble.
And of course some twine to finish off.
add a Santa hat and it’s like magic.

I LOVE some of the kitties, more than some of the others, alas. Especially (1) the one sleeping in the snow globe, (2) not a creature was stirring, and (3) the one with the Norwegian knitting pattern in the back. Thanks so much!
The paper pad is from My Minds Eye and is called Comfort and Joy, it was from last year or the year before and is now discontinued and I haven’t seen it anywhere for sale… but there are many amazing paper pads out there that would work just as well, but you never know your luck, someone may have it somewhere. thanks so much for stopping by and for your lovely comments, hope you have a fabulous weekend, Hugs Therese
What a fabulous collection, love them all. From the cat in the snow ball (love the little snow glitters on it) to the cat with the saying dont get your tinsle in a tangle and the cat with the santa hat, ohh they are all just wonderful Therese.
I’m a cat person so I loved all of these cards!
My favourite set so far!!! (But I’m guessing that’s no big shock…) The kitty in the snow globe, the Not a creature was stirring kitty, and the finally chubby kitty are my faves. So much adorableness!!

I’m really loving this series of Christmas cards, Therese. I have so many cat loving friends and you’ve given me some terrific inspiration for their cards. It has been ages since I’ve used Gamsol with my Prismacolor Premier pencils – I must revisit that. Such a cute collection of kitties!

Ah, great cards and great cats! I love anything to do with cats and the majority of my Christmas cards have got cats on them. You are so clever. Even the simple design of the cards they still look professional and fab.

I love this series, Therese. Some day I’ll make my own set of ‘same but different’ although they won’t be with cats because I don’t have any cat stamps.
