Quick & easy (and coloured in the dark lol), this is the perfect image for a young man who likes to smile.

Lostinpaper - Paper Rose - Laughing Animals - MFT (card) 1

and if you will notice a ‘white embossed sentiment on black’, made prior to the trip (sneaky right!).

  1. What an adventure!!! Plus, kudos for crafting and blogging such adorableness on the go!

  2. The card is adorable! So, why do you have the sticks on the top of the car? That may be a stupid question, not sure. Is it to have a fire? Are you camping this whole trip?

    1. Yes, they are for a fire, we were collecting wood while we were out 4WDriving and fishing for the day (the wood where we camped was Tea Tree so doesn’t burn very well and we needed hot water for our shower… it had been a couple of days lol). Thanks for visiting, Crafty Hugs Therese

  3. Loved your vid Therese. Australia looks stunning, I wish it wasn’t so far away (I’m English). I’ve just been to Alaska on a cruise and didn’t get so close to a whale (although we did see a few), saw lots of fabulous glaciers though 😀

  4. Oh my gosh, that zebra got me laughing out loud! Fabulous card! Looks like a fabulous trip!

  5. Love the laughing faces! And, your trip looked like a great adventure! Thanks for sharing the video!

  6. Well I love the card videos, but the travel ones are great keep them coming! Love the whales, thought they would all be up north by now. Did you hit a low hanging tree?

    1. Hi Megan, the Humpbacks pop in here for a rest as they are heading north but it’s the Southern Right Whales that are mostly seen along here but apparently there are Sperm and Killer Whales around too (but I don’t think they come so close to land). We did hit lots of trees when while were 4WDriving but no damage on the trip so far. Thanks for your lovely visit, Crafty hugs Therese

  7. Wow! Australia … is … GORGEOUS!!!! Thank you so much for sharing bits and pieces from your corner of the world. I’ve wanted to get “down under” for a long time now. I may never get there, but I sure do enjoy the video and pics you’ve shared of your trip. Feels like I’m getting to see it whether I actually ever get a chance to step on the land or not. And I LOVE, LOVE whales!!!!! Used to live in NE of the U.S. and went whale watching every year. Now live in the SW desert. No whales here(!!!!) … and I miss them. Thanks so much, Terese.

  8. Thanks for sharing that short video of your travels! beautiful! especially those whales! you are so lucky to be able to travel like that! Enjoy!

  9. Thanks for sharing your beautiful country – we are sweltering here in MIssouri, USA @ 96°.

  13. wow, that is some driving you guys are doing, the coastlines of Australia are beautiful though, and how lucky to see the baby whale! quick question – why are you driving around with a bit of a tree on you roof racks?? for a campfire?? anyway enjoy your travels and look forward to the next video/snippet

  14. Really fun card … and great idea to heat emboss that sentiment before your trip! Love the pics – that blue sky!

  15. Haha I love your card, I have that stamp set and it makes me laugh every time! Love watching your adventures and I love the fire kindling on top of the car. We have a beautiful country don’t we!

  16. Thanks so much for sharing your card and your travels! We’ve seen a lot of Australia but have never driven on the Nullarbor – that LONG straight road was an awesome sight! Good to see you’re both having such fun – enjoy all of it!

  17. LOVED your video and still photos…thanks for thinking of us 🙂
Such a fun card, too…great idea to have stamped up a few sentiments in advance!
Sounds like you and hubby are having a great time…I’m a little bit jealous (but, in a good way) ~
    Safe travels ~

  18. Fun card Therese! I really love the Western Australia coastline….never tire of seeing another breathtaking scene each time you drive around another bend. We need another fix soon….we’re from Queensland 😉 Thanks for sharing 🙂

  19. I love the laughing animals. She cute!

As always, thanks for sharing your trip. I love travel pictures, especially ones of places I’ve never visited. Stay safe and have fun!

  20. Therese…..I always enjoy your work. You are one creative gal. I really appreciated the armchair exploration of your excursion on the coast. OK. I’ll ask another question about your vehicle. There is a black something or other attached all along edge of the windshield that extends beyond the roof on the right side of your vehicle. Curiosity is killing….what is that for. Hope you share more video of your epic journey.

    1. Hi Becky, Yes I am an expert on cars (just ask my hubby lol), actually no I’m not. But I do know that it’s called a ‘snorkel’ and it has something to do with keeping dust out of the engine when you do a lot of driving on dirt roads and somehow it helps when we do water crossings when we are 4WDriving, last time when we drove to Cape York we had to cover our grill with a tarpaulin to stop water getting into the engine while we were driving through a water crossing…. these snorkels mean you can have higher clearance for this. I hope this helps, ask me a card question, any one and I could probably answer in a jiffy, cars… nah. thanks so much for your lovely words and for visiting, Crafty hugs, Therese

  21. Your card is adorable and so funny, I love it !!!!

  23. Just love your card. And, the videos you have been sharing of your trip are fabulous. Love the Whales, thanks so much for sharing this with us 🙂

  24. Fabulous card, LOL!! I’d call that good planning, not sneakiness (embossed sentiment)!
Thank you for the avid too, it al looks amazing 🙂

  25. Hahaha … so fun, Therese … and yes, I did spot that white on black sentiment … was wondering!! Stunning pictures and video … I’m loving your trip … can imagine how glorious it is to experience it IRL! Hugs, Anita 🙂
