Video : Build-A-Flower: Flourishing Zinnia Blog Hop & Giveaway!

Today it’s time for the newest Build-A-Flower: Flourishing Zinnia release and we are hopping along to celebrate. You should have arrived here from ZINIA’s  wonderful Blog.

How big is this flower!  It seriously dominates a card design so that is what I thought I should do with it today.

Altenew - BAF Flourishing Zinnia - Create a Wreath- Therese Calvird (card video) 1 copy

My background is from the Celebrations Paper Set and I added a frame from the Create-A-Wreath die set.

It was easy to add a simple sentiment from the Signature Words Die set.  I have a video today showing how I layered this stamp.
You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at YouTube.

  1. Another simple yet beautiful card. The zinnia is beautiful. I also liked the way you put the acetate onto the image to see the layering process. Simple and clever.

  2. Hi Therese, I have had trouble with layering stamps in the past. Thanks so much for the coloured pencil tip. I am going to get my layering stamps out and have a play. I thought the zinnia was fantastic

  3. Oh my gosh Therese, this Zinnia is gorgeous in those colors, the simple design with that awesome background, lets your flower be the star.
    Thank you for sharing.
    XO
    Maria.
PS. Can I ask you why you don’t use the little magnets on the MISTI? Just curious. 😉

    1. Hi Maria, I haven’t used the magnets for ages as I find that consistently putting the paper back into the same corner is better and more reliable… I found that if the stamps were really ‘sticky’ the paper would sometimes shift with the magnets and I wouldn’t have realised in time before I restamped (doh!). If I really want something to stay in position I will use the magnets then but I will watch the paper like a hawk lol. Crafty hugs, Therese
