But first did you know that this is part of a new release at Altenew! And we are hopping along to celebrate so you should have arrived here from KARI’s amazing Blog!
These cards were so simple to create, I started with this beautiful Gilded Rose…. isn’t it dreamy!
I used the Red Sunset inks to blend through the Gilded Rose Stencil.
Next I couldn’t waste the ‘left over’ hot foil, so I reverse foiled it onto a card panel. It wasn’t perfect but I really like the finished result.
I added a simple die cut Waterbrush Hello to finish it off.
My next card design has a mix of layer stamping and hot foil.
This gorgeous set is called Sparkle Bright. And the sentiment was created using the Sentiment Banners Bundle.

Absolutely beautiful Therese. My favourite is the first. The rose is so lovely. Just perfect. This was a bolt from the blue, Altenew doing foil plates too. My shopping list is growing â¤ï¸
I did ask them…. but seeing how quickly my wishes came true, i’m sure these plates were already in the making lol.

Stunning, Therese! I love how you reversed foiled the leftover panel, it looks perfectly distressed. My Hot Glimmer broke after two uses so I’m really disappointed. Your beautiful work is tempting me to get another hot foil system, lol!

I cherish each and every card that Anita has mailed me. I am always in awe of her and her cards. When I first met her, I told her that I use color pencils because I don’t do well with Copics. I love the reverse foil! That solid foil plate is genius! Now nothing will go to waste…not even my mistakes. I think the “imperfect” edges are PERFECT.

Your card designs are stunning as always, and I really love the use of the ‘negative’ foil piece; I think the imperfection of the transfer actually makes the design more authentic and unique.
