Do you like colouring flowers? Would you like to see the same flower coloured 2 DIFFERENT ways?
But first, this post is part of a Hop celebrating the collaboration with Amy Tangerine and Altenew and you can find all of the hop details in the link list below!
Now onto the flowers, there is a definitely tropical and happy feel to this release!

Idea #1 – Ink Swiping!
Ift doesn’t get any easier than this. I simply swiped the ink pads across some white cardstock and then stamped the flowers and leaves overtop. Then I used the coordinating dies to cut the images out.

I made sure that some of the white edges were visible to add some ‘life’ to the flowers but if you prefer a more solid colour you could skip this.

I adore these bright new fun coloured inks inspired by Amy Tangerine, they make my heart happy!

Idea #2 – No Line Colouring!
This technique is not for the faint-hearted, but the results totally change the look of this bloom! For this technique you need to stamp your image with a pale ink that will not be visible after the colouring is complete. I used Contour Ink but you can use any light colour as long as it will be compatible with your colouring medium.

I like to start with a lighter base colour and then start adding depth as I colour the design. I find it easier to do each petal separately and then stand back and add an even darker colour at the very end. This will add even more definition. I used Alcohol Markers for my base colours and then added the extra depth with coloured pencils.
PRO TIP: Depending on how intricate the image is, it helps to keep the original picture close by to see where the lines are because they actually do feel like they disappear as you are colouring lol.

I also changed up the layers for the rainbow to create a fun stamped oval background.

Therese, your projects are always amazing!
These are incredible! I LOVE the sentiments and colors! The flowers are perfect!
Your no-line coloring is amazing, Therese.
Super fun cards. Thanks for sharing your amazing work
The no-line coloring card is my favorite! Such a pretty flower-love the pastel colors.
Both of your cards are beautiful, especially the second one! I love the soft colors and the way you used the rainbow- brilliant!
Just beautiful!
ALWAYS love your cards Therese. I’m going to try the ink swiping for flowers today.
I never imagined that the bold lines of those blooms could be hidden, Therese – I should have known you would find the way, and so beautifully!
Those bold lines make for such a whimsical modern look especially stamped over top of your fun swiped ink – yes, even this grey-loving girl loves these new colors!
=]
As always, your cards are absolutely gorgeous! Love the designs and the coloring technique.â¤ï¸
I love the no-line card especially – I am always trying to figure out how to do this, and you really nailed it! Thank you!

Beautiful colors!! Love these!
I love the swiping technique used to create the flowers and you no line coloring is gorgeous!
Quick and easy is right up my alley!! Definitely going to give it a try!
The stamped oval background on the second card definitely caught my eye – great ‘out of the rainbow’ thinking – lol!! I love the look of no line coloring but have been hesitant to give it a try but might have to – picking a simpler image like these flowers might make it achievable even for a novice like me!!
Love your cards Theresa!!!! TFS
Such fun & bright cards. Thanks as always for sharing and all the inspiration.
Very pretty! I especially like how you used the rainbow stamp in the second card.
Beautiful cards! I love the no-line coloring effect.

Here I thought I couldn’t like another card more than all the others…LOL!
Your second card is gorgeous!! Both are great but I so love how you made it your own with the stamp set. Beautifully done, Miss Therese!
Love these pretty cards! Fun style of flowers and rainbow elements, and I love the fab ink colors too! Awesome collection!
Such beautiful cards Therese.
OMG Therese! Yow blow my mind with your projects! When I scrolled through the first one, I was like wow, it actually is so effortless to colour images and I love the bright vibrant look. And then I scrolled further and I was like woah, well putting in the effort always gives that stunning look- the soft subtle finish is something I loved too. I also like how you used the rainbow to create this frame in the background! Fabulous!
Aditi xx
So much inspiration! I cannot color like you but I can swipe an ink pad. On my afternoon to do list. TFS!
Love the new ink colors esp lemonade stand. Love the multi flower card.
Wonderful cards. Love the mix of colors
and the added hummingbird to the one card.
thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous cards! Love how you used the rainbow on the second card. So fun!
How very smart to use the rainbow stamps to make the elongated oval images! I’m sure I never would have thought to do that!
Love the rainbow oval.
Awesome cards! And what a great way to use the rainbow stamp!
Such pretty cards!
Love your cards and the ease of the swiping technique. This hugs is my favorite set but I’m loving the new colors more!
The swipe technique has produced a lovely softness to the flowers.
Such a great example of radically different styles with one set!
I love how you have used the rainbow stamps 🙂
I love the idea of ink swiping and then stamping, but it’s the no-line coloring that takes the prize! Just gorgeous!
Gorgeous cards! I especially love that floral stamp set!
oh my gosh; your flower and hummingbird card may be my favorite from the entire blog hop–just so beautiful!
I love how you turn that rainbow around and made an oval! Why have I never thought of that?
The rainbow oval background is genius!!!!!
Therese, You have taken the rainbow stamp set and made it your own by making the beautiful oval that you did, what a fantastic card. Soft and subtle colors which makes this card awesome! Your first card is more vibrant and is just as beautiful with the colors standing out more! Thank You for inspiring us with your talents!
I like how you used the rainbow elements in a completely different way. Also the way you made those flowers pop!
Stunning! Love the no line colouring and will put the ink swipping on my to do list!!
It’s a fun one for sure!
