#CHRISTMASTRIANGLES

Ready to see how I’ve used triangle dies in five exciting ways for this year’s festive collection? You may want to grab a hot cuppa cocoa!

Idea #1 – Holiday Scene

For this card, I created a cozy Christmas scene featuring simple triangle trees set against a blended background.

With a snowy backdrop and lights glowing in the windows, adding a decorated tree in the ‘front yard’ really brings the scene to life, making it feel like a warm, inviting Winter’s night.

Idea #2 – Clean & Simple

Next, I added some large trees behind the houses but stepped it up by stamping a graphic-style tree trunk onto the die-cut triangle trees.

It’s the small details that really make a difference and elevate a clean and simple design. You’ll also notice a bit of snow on the trees and a hand-drawn wreath on one of the front doors, giving this card that extra festive touch.

Idea # 3 – Graphic Background

You may notice there are triangle trees on this design as well, but they aren’t the main focus here. Instead, the attention goes to the graphic-style background, where a large triangle is featured off to the left.

It creates a bold, modern backdrop that complements the scene with the house and smaller triangle trees in front.

Idea #4 – Step It Up

Let’s step it up! This time, we’re using the same basic graphic background design, but by changing the color combination to gold and black, the card takes on a truly elegant look.

But it doesn’t stop there… this triangle has been embossed with beautiful bows, and the card is further decorated with a classic Poinsettia (always a fave) and some gorgeous gems for that extra touch of glamour.

Idea #5 – Golden Triangle Trees

Want a modern and elegant design? Then you can’t go past gold heat embossing! These triangle die-cut trees, with endless pattern possibilities, let your design creativity run wild.

For this card, I decided to cover the entire front with a variety of gold-embossed trees and added a bold black sentiment for contrast.

BONUS IDEA: These trees would also look stunning lined up in a gold row for a simpler, yet equally chic, design.
