I did it! I made my very own light box, and the only thing I had to buy were the lamps & the globes! I thought I would share my creation with you, because I know that everybody is just as excited as I am about my light box. I used one of those cardboard file boxes (there are 2 in a flatpack & ‘cheap as chips’), cut my windows to fit A4 white vellum sheets (I didn’t have any 12″ x 12″), reinforced it with pieces of cardboard and taped a white background to the back and base… and voila! I aready love the photos especially being able to take photos in the evening and not having to chase the sun around the house (which was one of my previous techniques… and not a very successful one)!
I’ve been on holidays & WOW was it some fun! But now I am back & boy do I have some wonderful blogs to catch up on. I will be sharing some fabulous photos of my trip to Outback Australia after my post… so if you’re interested keep scrolling (Watch out for the red dirt)! I thought I’d start my catchup with the new Lily Pad Cards Color Throw Down (Not just 3 but count them, 5 colours) & combine it with the current Clean & Simple sketch. This is the first time I have used this stamp, I couldn’t resist… have I told you that I ride a scooter? Well it’s not exactly these colours but it is just awesome (when it’s not raining… then I just get wet).

We went to visit an awesome friend of ours who lives near Karratha, would you believe the flight accross Australia was nearly 6 hours (it’s a BIG country). As you can see there has been a lot of rain in North Western Australia. We were in the Pilbara region – and isn’t it just stunning! We stayed in the eco retreat (where the tents are pictured) and went swimming at the waterfalls….
Just a quick post to say I have been spotlighted! Thank you to There She Goes , I feel very honoured. I have just purchased my first stamps from them recently and can’t wait to share what I make in the near future.
The Ribbon Girl Blog is having a giveaway, so I thought I would join in. They have combined with Lili of the Valley Stamps, so thank you to them both for the chance to win.
I was very excited when I saw that I won one of the prizes in the Moxie Fab World Card Making Day Week extravaganza! There were twelve winners picked from nearly 2700 comments, so I am feeling just slightly lucky. My prize is the Home For The Holidays collection from Melissa Frances and I can’t wait to see it & start creating. Hope your day is going as well as mine. Thanks Moxie Fab!
This is a tag that I made for a swap. Gotta say I really struggle with that cream background on tags, what would be wrong with making them white? Anyway, just thought I’d share… this one’s for you mum.
My passion is papercraft and in particular I likelove to make greeting cards. I also enjoy seeing what other papercrafters are making and am constantly watching their blogs. There is some amazing talent out there and I love that people are so generous and share what they do to inspire all of us…
So here is the thing… (with just a little encouragement) I thought maybe it was time to have some fun and create my own blog. I hope you enjoy it!
