So we are in the pinks again and this time I’ve got the most gorgeous image from Stamping Bella, and she just had to have a gold glittery dress (looks fabulous IRL), probably because I want one myself, I just don’t have anywhere to wear it…

A quick publication share today (I thought that I had already posted this card but can’t find it… or the card post I pre wrote, so I am not sure what is going on)…. Anyhoo, my card today is all about No Fuss Copic colouring, so I didn’t blend any of the colours and decided to leave just a small highlight by not colouring all the way to the edges. I made this for the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine. BTW the grey’s do look similar IRL, they just didn’t photograph so well, or was it, I didn’t photograph them so well… Oh, well.

A quick publication share today where the call was to design with Triangles. Of course I had to use Altenew’s Sohcahtoa for the background, and out came the pineapple from Avery Elle again, one of my faves from 2015 for sure!

This is a photo of an amazing garden that my husband and I visited when we were in the Loire Valley in France, this garden was truly incredible (and this is literally just one section of it).

Today I am so excited to be part of a collaboration blog hop with Altenew and WOW! Embossing Powder. Now, you should have arrived here from Victoria Petrenko’s blog and if you missed that, then you can start at the very beginning here at the Altenew Blog.
I’ve been having some embossing fun and chunking it up with the Metallic Silver Ultra High WOW embossing powder. This stuff will only work in large areas and if you want to use a stamp it can’t be detailed. Here’s another tip (I learnt the hard way) heat it up from behind, then it will stay on the versamark ink, because it’s so thick and lush!

It’s time for a Pop of Black & White and that was the call for the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine and I thought this little sweetie would look just fab in a polka skirt (been practicing my fabric folds – this skirt was paper pieced from some design paper and the shading was added after)!

I was lucky to be asked to join the Avery Elle ‘Geek Love’ Stamper’s Challenge for the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine. This is an uber cute stamp set and I (heart) the matching die set too!

I had so much fun making this set of matching cards that I actually made a similar set at Christmas (with a video and you can find the link HERE). I’ve been wanting to challenge myself to this for the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine and when I saw this collection (and it’s an Australian designer) I was sold. Today I’m playing with a new challenge on the block called Tic-Tac-Toe, it’s the brain child of Ka who is totally amazing, so why not head over and check it out… and maybe join in! I’m using some Penny Black goodies to create a celebratory card, and yes, it’s clean & simple, go figure.

Just in time… Merry Christmas to you all! If things have gone to plan (ie a 7 hour drive Christmas eve with no hiccoughs) I am now at my brother’s enjoying a lovely relaxing Chrissy by the pool and enjoying some great food and bubbles.
Todays cards were published in the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine for the ‘Just in Time’ feature where the call was to create two similar cards, one that was easy and one more detailed. Me? I like the clean and simple one.

Thought I would sneak in some challenge inspiration and as usual Michele never fails to deliver at this week’s MUSE and here it is in all it’s fabulousness!
I kept the basic sketch very similar although changed the orientation of the card and was wondering if would you could call a pig cute? Well I think that this one is! I also added a ‘slightly’ bold sentiment….
This card also fits the bill over at Simon Says Stamp’s Wednesday Challenge for Diecember, where it’s time to go ‘Die Crazy’, and as you know I loves my dies! A word of warning though, I’m back tonight with a video for Altenew so I’ll see you again real soon!
