I don’t know what I was thinking, I don’t think I’ve ever seen blue roses before but I thought they would look pretty and so not the usual ‘red and pink’ regular Valentine’s theme. One of my fave colouring techniques with Prismas is using them direct to design paper, and today I felt like colouring so I did just that! I decided to film as I created so you can watch the process.

This time the call was for Diamonds / Jewels for the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine and I realised that I had not one….. sadly. But I got creative and this is what I came up with, it’s hard to see in this below average photo but each section of the diamond is a shaker… so cool!
Loving the sentiment too which is a wood veneer from Freckled Fawn, they have such fun embellies. Have a great day,

Today I’m playing with a new challenge on the block called Tic-Tac-Toe, it’s the brain child of Ka who is totally amazing, so why not head over and check it out… and maybe join in! I’m using some Penny Black goodies to create a celebratory card, and yes, it’s clean & simple, go figure.
I decided to film because I was playing with my new present, it’s a MISTI and now I don’t know how I lived without it lol. Thanks so much Kara, I am having a blast!

A fun and easy partial die cutting technique today using this very intricate ‘Into the Woods’ die from Penny Black, otherwise quite a clean and simple card. What better way to start my 2015 Same but Different Card Series than a little challenge to myself. Six of the same but different cards and using only two stamp sets! I decided to play with these gorgeous sets from Penny Black and no regrets there, they stamped beautifully and with a little flash of silver it was done before I knew it!

Over the next few weeks I’m going to be sharing this series of Christmas cards and I look forward to you joining me in the fun. I will warn you that not all the products I will be using are current, it’s kinda a budget thing, but really just a great way to use the stash. But obviously anything can be switched out for whatever fabulous products that you already have around you, that’s part of the fun (cause you know that when you use it up, you have a right to buy some more….. true!).
