Who’s for a swim? Today I share a very simple way to make a ‘Splash’ in your very own papercraft swimming pool!
Can you see that I am having some serious Yupo fun here and with the added ‘paving’ from the Abstract Paint Strokes stamp set and a Spread the Sparkle sentiment, it all came together perfectly!
I decided to film as I created.

I enjoy seeing the effect you get from the rubbing alcohol in a mister on the alcohol inks – such a pretty result. Enjoy your new pool! 🙂

I was entranced seeing this fabulous scene come together, Therese … it’s fabulous … the detailing with all the different elements is fantastic … and I love that AI/Yupo pool (not messy then?!). Have you tried a piece of swiffer sheet to clear up the unwanted glitter … works a treat! Hugs, Anita 🙂
Hi Anita, I haven’t tried a swiffer sheet but do use a ‘glitter clean up cloth’ which is I think what they are called, I’ve had the same one for ever and it works a treat too. Thanks so much for stopping by and for your lovely lovely comments my friend, Crafty hugs, Therese x
Great minds think alike!! I’m a bit phobic about the messy alcohol inks but they make a cracking good water effect…love those ripples 😉 Yay for both of us having a pool too!! x
