How to Double Inlay Die Cut + Video!

I have a fun ‘double’ inlay die cutting technique to share with you today using the new fab dies from the Ellen Hutson release.  But first I want to share some sparkly Unicorns ‘N Rainbows fun.

I used the new Landscapes dies to create my very own psychedelic rainbow background, with some added Sheer Shimmer Spritz Sparkle…  this stuff is amazing and I reckon there should be baths of it!

I added the rainbow colour using Distress Oxide inks and finally some Sparkling Clear Sequins.

I did a ‘double inlay’ die cutting technique with the Big City Die and you can watch the process (crossed fingers and all) in the video linked below.

I added an embossed sentiment from the Everyday Punnies Stamp Set as well as a heart enamel dot from Altenew.

You can see my video here or Watch it in HD at YouTube.

Thanks so much for visiting me, you guys always make my day sparkly and I hope that you find some sparkle in your day too!  Big Hugs,

  1. FAB U LOUS! even if I’m the least sparkly of friends, lol! That little Unicorn needed to frolic there, Therese! I need to go frolic at your YouTube channel… xx

    1. Love that happy-go-lucky unicorn! 🦄 Just makes me smile! 🤗 Love how your cards are so different but have the same colorful, happy vibe!

  2. Fabulous tutorial Therese! I couldn’t see where you were heading with this one at first, but love the finished design – the little bits of white skyline really set off the centre focus! A great idea – as usual! Your cute unicorn card is so bright and cheery!

  3. The two cards are so much fun.
Love the unicorn card and the sentiment is delightful.
Your second cards is so much fun as well.
Who wouldn’t want a red scooter.
    Cheers
    Lisa

  4. That unicorn card is amazing!!! I love all the happy colors and how cute that little guy is. Huge fan of graphic and bold, so your building card is a 10 out of 10 for me!

  5. Your cityscape takes colour blocking to a whole new level, Therese … so cool … so clever! The little unicorn joyfully frolicking about in his vibrantly colour blocked meadow is adorable … what a sweet sentiment to go with him too! Hugs, Anita 🙂
