Have you ever tried using just one layer of a floral die to create a design? What can I say, it really doesn’t get any more clean and simple than this!
I love Aga’s card designs and feel that this one was very inspired by her. With only one layer I decided to use design paper to create some added interest and the 12 X 12 Celebrate pack was the perfect choice.

Adding dimension to the flower also helped add some interest.

The sentiment is from the Holiday Tag Sentiments set which has so many non-holiday sayings to choose from too!

Hope you are inspired to try a new look for your layering dies!

This looks really good as a one layer!
Hi, Therese. Letting your patterned paper be the color in your flower is BRILLIANT! The subtilty the partial pattern and the pattern itself give just enough color and definition to see it is clearly a rose. Thank you for sharing.
So pretty!! I love the minimal-ness of this technique!
So unique on your style, love it.
This is so pretty

This is interesting to view with the papers you used. Very nice.
Well how smart and creative are you! And just when I thought this was the easiest card in the world, you did bring up the issue of placement. Well, I like your placement, so now it is CAS and fast since you did the hard work LOL! Thanks for the wonderful inspiration. Now I need to buy that die set!
