You should check out the link up, there is some incredible inspiration there! So without further ado here is today’s tag and it’s a bright and cheery little number.

Sitting here all chuffed with myself as my tags are made, you see, every year my husband gives gifts to all the staff that have to work on Christmas day and I usually find out that “I” have to make the tags about…. the 24th December lol. Just loved the bold colours of this challenge and I couldn’t resist adding a little bit of gold (again right, I know).

I liked the bold colours and the simple funky designs so I used MFT’s Modern Blooms again… and a new scripty die from Lawn Fawn. You could even use this design for a Chrissy card if you are feeling the ‘bold’ness.

I had a little trouble photographing this little number so here is a close up of how I used the acetate to add the centre of the sentiment on my popped up panel.

Okay, so I’m on holidays and this challenge couldn’t have come at a better time, I’ve had so much fun playing with my MFT stamps and have finally decided that I need to ‘upgrade’ my watercolours. I’ve been holding off but obviously the fad is not passing for me, so it’s time to invest. Now to choose, there are so many out there and it’s only for card making… so, maybe, I need them all lol.
Sadly I’m back to work tomorrow, so hunkering back underground, but with a few cards now made in advance ready to roll, cross my fingers I find just a little play time. Thanks for the visit, I’m back with a SB video tomorrow. Hugs
Other Supplies: Cardstock – Gold mirror. Foam – red 2mm.
Totally easy and total fun, these new Avery Elle Peonies are so sweet and having the matching dies, it really is a match made in heaven.. that is, when I eventually work it out lol. This is my card for this month’s challenge at AEI(heart)U where it’s time to have a non-white card base. I decided to film as I created, basically because I’m on holidays and I can.

I’m pretty sure this one started with the rosettes and it just all got a bit modern from there. I’m not sold on the blending in the background, but it’s there now and I don’t detest it (otherwise it would have been for the bin lol), but I do adore the colour of the Platinum Stickles!

Back again with some MFT fun! I adore these Scribbles dies and I think they make the funkiest of flowers and now that I’ve found Xpress it A4 double sided adhesive everything is getting glittered, even the leaves! I kept the card design quite simple as I wanted the flowers to be the centre of attention.
An extra video today as I am on holidays and couldn’t resist playing over at My Favorite Things as they have a Card Design Superstar Contest happening… I’ve always wanted to be a Superstar, and heavens knows I can’t act although my hands have known to be seen on such places as Youtube (wink).
It’s seems such a long time since I’ve had a chance to just play, and these little kitties have been waiting to meet some ink, so with a little Pinterest inspiration help (from my Card Inspiration Board) I went with the idea of highlight stamping. I filmed as I created so you can watch the process.
When the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine asked if I wanted to be part of a Stamper’s Challenge that involved me playing with Altenew’s Painted Butterflies I couldn’t reply ‘Yes’ quick enough lol. And I wasn’t disappointed, I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed getting all inky with these stamps, they are Brilliant!

Other Supplies: Rhinestones – Red / Aqua / Heart. Yellow hemp twine.
Keeping it real simple for this month’s entry to Avery Elle’s Embossing challenge, in fact it’s just a little difficult to see the embossed part of my card, but it’s those fabulous double pierced rectangles that I can’t get enough of and I used one of these to create a subtle border for my scene.
Gold Amazing – DetailGold Amazing
And can you see I have the new Amazing die too, soo happy and loving it in gold, Jamie & the AE team are ‘Amazing’ my goodies arrived to Australia in record time and they are nothing but fantastic to deal with. Other Supplies: Prismacolor Pencils – Cream, Espresso, French Grey 20, 50%, Pale Sage, Chocolate, Peach Beige, Peach, Dark Brown, Deco Pink, Goldenrod.
How COOL is the inspiration over at the new Pinterest Inspired Challenge, I definitely didn’t want to miss out and you should see the gallery, not to mention the fab DT entries WoW! I decided to film as I created, lots of fussing today, which is typical if I have no definitive plan… that seems to be the drill, but no rush, I’m playing anyway.

Here is the inspiration for this month’s challenge…
I absolutely do not know where this card came from… initially it was something about the shape of the cupcake and the gnome hat and then I think the colours came in and somehow the ‘dig it’ theme… and don’t even ask about why a vege garden lol.

My first play with some Reverse Confetti products and they are sooo much fun. I was asked to create two cards for the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine for their Stamper’s Challenge and here is what I came up with. My fave would of course have to be the pink and orange card… definitely one of my ‘go to’ colour combo’s at the moment.
