Our neighbours are getting married this weekend and I needed a quick fun wedding card. I’ve had confetti on my mind for some time now and I when I saw the newest challenge at Jay Gee’s Nook I knew just what I wanted to do! I went with ‘mega confetti’ and isn’t this a great way to use up some of those cardstock scraps? I thought this would also make a great card for the current Movement Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

It’s Friday and time again for another Challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps Blog! This would have to be one of my all-time faves, it’s to Say it With…. A Stamped Background! {ac070} I have an addiction to a certain set… and you will of course note that I stayed away from this said set (it did take a little effort though). Instead I used this awesome diamond pattern, I thought it would be perfect as I needed a wedding card and it’s such an elegant design!
Why not go check out what the other amazing Belles have created, you can find all the links in my sidebar. Also don’t forget that we have a new Topical Tuesday every week!

Pardon the Pun! This is another card published recently in the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine for Valentines Day. How totally cute is this sheep from the Lawn Fawn ‘Critters on the Farm’ set, I couldn’t resist! Just thought I would pop in and say a quick hello (while I’m on holidays) and let you know that I will be back on Tuesday with a video tutorial for AnnaBelle Stamps Topical Tuesdays, look forward to seeing you again real soon!

I was asked to make a wedding card and since I recently won this awesome set of stamps from the very talented Annette, I couldn’t wait to ink them up! I just embossed the cake and removed the candles and voila… a wedding cake! I was inpsired by Virginia’s View at Lilypad Cards, this was perfect timing for me as I was stuggling for ideas! I would also like to join this week’s challenge at Less Is More where the theme is ‘Punches or Die cuts’.

Other Supplies: Pretty Please Paper Pad MME, Tiny flower punch – Punch Bunch. Kaisercraft Rhinestones – Silver
So this class was to make 3 different cards using the same stamp in various ways…. I’m not sure if I cheated but the stamp I chose is kinda a background and image stamp all in one, it’s ‘Flower Text’ from Hero Arts. I haven’t had a chance to play the challenge at The Play Date Cafe recently, but totally loved this weeks colours, so I used them to make the hug & kisses card, I couldn’t miss the fun could I?. I’ve seen this little popped up hearts everywhere and they are sooo cute, this is my version.
I’ve got a little catching up to do, so here is a couple of cards that I had accepted for publication from the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft Magazine. The call was to use laser cut chipboard and I had so much fun with these gorgeous cats and this dress form from Scrapmatts, Love them!

This weeks challenge at CASE Study is to make a card using your ‘Signature Style’. I was thinking about this and knew that it had to be CAS for me, but I’d also say that I do love to use cute images with Copics, so why not include it all! I’ve been asked to make a Wedding Card, nothing unusual about that you say…. This one had to have whales, so… who am I to argue. The bridesmaids are wearing navy and have hot pink flowers (thus the colour scheme). This card did give me the opportunity to actually ‘reverse’ a stamp, this was my first attempt and I’m quite happy with the outcome. New techniques are just fab!
While I’ve got your attention I just want to remind you that Print Candee is having their first official Creative Team blog hop on Wednesday 31st, and there is some fab candy, so make sure you visit for a chance to win!

I thought I would share something personal with you… today is our 20th wedding anniversary. Life has been easy as I married the most wonderful man, he is kind, thoughtful and generous, and I’m really looking forward to the next 20! I know what you are thinking… obviously I must have been a child bride… I’ll let you work it out! Anyway tonight we have found a lovely little French restaurant to eat dinner which will pair nicely with a bottle of champagne. So of course I had to make him a card (it’s what I do) and I enjoyed the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge so much I thought I would go again! (The bigger size card is perfect because if you count them there are 20 hearts – one for each year)

So ever since Chupa posted this week’s CASE Study challenge, I have been thinking…. that I need to buy some ‘solid’ stamps, not that I need any encouragement to spend money on papercrafting supplies (I’m sure you know what I mean). Instead, I decided to use what I already have and came up with this card. Would you believe that I had no idea is was going to be a wedding card until I finished it, imagine my surprise! Anyhow, I really liked how it turned out.

So I’ve been playing with the Copics & loving them! I made a few versions of this card, but I have to say that I like the pink cake the best. This is my entry for the current Copic Oz LOVE Challenge.
So I had a request to make a wedding card. That was not so unusual until I heard the word Pohutakawa tree… that was when I thought I may be in a little trouble! I found out that it was a beautiful tree from New Zealand! The other instructions included Bright & Funky, marathon runner, Koru, Builder & Sailor… Easy Peasy. This is what I came up with using the current 2 Sketches 4 You Challenge.

Scrapbook Boutique are having another challenge & I couldn’t resist – with such yummy colours. Initially I thought I would make a baby card, but it sort of changed along the way, as it always does. Hope you like it.
So then of course I had to make the wedding card for my friend. Her wedding is on the cliffs of the local beach next weekend, so here’s hoping that these overcast rainy days are long gone by then. Back to Spring where we should be! I made this a monochromatic card, I can’t remember if I have done this before, but have been meaning to try. So many techniques… so little time. Loving that course glitter from Martha Stewart, lucky it’s a massive bottle.
