This was a difficult one for me, pastels are definitely not my ‘go to’ so a little out of my comfort zone here, it was hard not to keep adding more colour and depth, hope you think it fits the moodboard…

Video : Altenew November 2016 Release!

Video : Watercolouring with Tombows – Fairy Christmas!
Back to Colour with ‘U’ today and I thought it was about time to crack out my Tombow’s again and I wanted to use them with a watercolour technique. It did take me a couple of attempts to make this card, initally I was going for an ‘all blue’ look and look where I ended up…. well, the sky is blue!

Video : Easy Zig Background with Altenew Bamboo Roses!
Today I have a card to share for the Altenew blog. I just had to find out what the fuss was with these Zig Clean color Real Brush pens… so I caved and bought some and you get to see me try them out.

Polychromos pencils on Kraft cardstock.
Today I decided it was time to practice with my Polychromos pencils and I thought why not add them to kraft! They are very similar to the Prismacolor pencils but different lol. and I had lots of fun and know that the more that I play with them the more comfortable I will become.
This poppy image is so pretty and with just a little masking I could add a second flower and make the stem longer. I thought I would be a little daredevilish today and decided to only stamp 2 flowers…. I know, I know, an even number!
I used some Penny Black products today and they will of course be linked below. I’ll be back on Thursday with another video, look forward to seeing you then!

Love this fun black & white theme and of course I decided to keep it quite clean and simple and I just had to use this triangle stencil from Heidi Swapp, isn’t it perfect!
