Today I thought I would kick things off with a theme, so lots of different products and every card unique but all with a similar theme and colour palette, all to make creating so much quicker and easier.

Today I have a clean and simple card to share for Scrapbook Boutique. I wanted to play with my new embossing pastes from Ranger, so created my own background and then added some fun images from Lawn Fawn Fairy Friends. I decided to film as I created so that you could watch the process.

Back today with another Cards4Men video and today it’s all about the shadow, a ‘By Request’ video (yes, this is for you Ange). I’ve used Prismacolor Pencils on this card but you could apply this technique to any kind of medium… I just find pencils are the easiest for me to blend out. But with practice, anything is possible (well, nearly lol.) Remember, after all, it’s just paper!

I had so much fun colouring this character, I’ve got a new set of Polychromos pencils, but for some reason headed to my Prismas again. I know that I am just going to have to venture there soon…
…it’s just so much is happening around here, I’m moving my room around, I have a new computer, with a new computer program, new office 365 as well as a new video editing program, so needless to say, BIG learning curves happening here on the coast, and with lots of cards to make (wish me luck)!
Other Supplies: Prismacolor Pencils – Black / French Grey 20, 90% / Warm Grey 20% / Cool Grey 70% / Burnt Ochre / Dark Brown / Jasmine / Poppy Red / Crimson Red.
Today I have a quick share, time for a CAS baby card for a sweet friend of mine.
Hope you are having a great day, I’ve just started holidays and am currently visiting some friends in Cairns, but don’t worry I’ll be back real soon. Hugs,
Now it’s time for something a little bit busier as there’s been waaay too much clean & simple going on round here. The Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine had a call for ‘multiple’ masking and I’m not saying that I went overboard (but I came close), I think I was trying to channel my inner Sandy Allnock creating a scene with my Copics, she is such an amazing inspiration! ps Stoked to say this card made the cover.
I’ll be back in a couple of days with another CAS video, I look forward to seeing you again then.
Other Supplies: Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black. VersaMark. Copics (nearly all of them….) E000,00,11,25,31,33,37,59,97,99. W0,2,4,7. T0,2.0. Ro5,22,27. YR18,24. Y13,21,26. B000,02,21,24,95,97. BG11,13. G24,40. YG00,03,93,95. BV00,08. V95.
Just in time… Merry Christmas to you all! If things have gone to plan (ie a 7 hour drive Christmas eve with no hiccoughs) I am now at my brother’s enjoying a lovely relaxing Chrissy by the pool and enjoying some great food and bubbles.
Todays cards were published in the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine for the ‘Just in Time’ feature where the call was to create two similar cards, one that was easy and one more detailed. Me? I like the clean and simple one.
Hope your day will be as fun as mine, big hugs and wishes to you and yours,
Other Supplies: Cardstock AC’s – Sand, Coffee. Queen & Co Pearls – Classy Red / Sunflower Yellow. DMC Gold thread.
Sadly today is my last installment for the 2015 Same but Different Christmas Series and I have saved one of the easiest and funkiest techniques til last, cause we all know it’s getting very close now and lets face facts, if your cards are not made yet you are going to want something real nice and easy… Oh, and elegant and fun to make too!
You can see my video here or Watch it at Youtube.

Back with another 6 Christmas cards and today is all about using the supplies that I have at hand (ie they may no longer be available but still very easy to replicate). And keeping with the retro Christmas theme with some ‘non- Christmassy’ papers and a very cas design which is very easy to make multiples of.

Here is the inspiration for this month’s challenge…
I liked the bold colours and the simple funky designs so I used MFT’s Modern Blooms again… and a new scripty die from Lawn Fawn. You could even use this design for a Chrissy card if you are feeling the ‘bold’ness.
I had a little trouble photographing this little number so here is a close up of how I used the acetate to add the centre of the sentiment on my popped up panel.
From here you are heading to the Scrapbook Boutique Blog, thanks for joining us, it’s been heaps of fun!
Other Supplies:
