#POLY-GLAZE
This is a fun product released by Gina K which allows toner foil to adhere to patterned cardstock (the Poly-Glaze sheets) and spoiler alert… it’s very easy to use. There are many patterns to choose from and it’s as simple as laying the toner foil over top (shiny side up) and running it through a laminator. It is very similar to Foil Art, but surprisingly the pattern on the Poly-Glaze sheets is not ‘black’ like regular toner ink and the lines in the projects that I created today are very ‘fine’, yet they still foiled beautifully.
PRO TIP:
I used a Minc Machine and found that Setting 3 worked best for me. If you have a regular laminator, ensure it is on the highest setting, and for the best results allow it to heat up for at least half an hour before use.
Card #1 – Poly-Glaze
I chose the Catch a Wave pattern because, as always, I needed some Cards4Men (check out my full video PLAYLIST Here).

Oh my, did you see these Honey Bee Lures? They are perfect as my husband loves fishing, so I just had to have them, thank you, Michele, for your inspiration (enabling) right HERE.
PRO TIP:
Foil extra pieces/scraps of toner sheet to add foiled highlights to your images.

Card #2 – Left Over Foil?
BONUS TIP!! Hate waste? I am totally with you, did you know that you can use the ‘left over’ toner foil pieces? We could always buy the Black Toner Sheets, but now, there is a game changer, White Toner Sheets perfect if you are a ‘white’ space girl like me 😉.

I have a LIVE video sharing how I used them for the first time right HERE learning curve included lol.

Let me know in the comments below if you have any Poly-Glaze products and if you enjoy using them, or tell me which one is your favourite… I might just need some more 😉! Sending crafty hugs your way!

Never heard of poly – glaze at all until now, isn’t it so clever ! why haven’t I seen this before. Fabulous make too, loving the colours too. x
It was such fun to play with, I must check out what other designs are available myself!!
Wow! These are marvelous!
Thank you so very much!
I love these cards despite thee fact I don’t know any fishermen. I also learned some things that will help me in my foiling! Thank you Therese!!
So glad you like these cards, I think these lures add such a fun element!
Great colours on your card. I love the foil accents. I gather your husband doesn’t read your blog? I’m sure the card will be appreciated. You are doing well with the card making, it’s too humid here.
The break from the hot weather in Victoria was nice, we arrived back yesterday and already wish that our Air con was fixed lol.
Never heard of Polyglaze but looks fabulous and really works with the lures which I’m waiting to be delivered as I write this. I can feel another purchase coming on.Both cards are fantastic and really couldn’t choose between them.
