Hiya, today I have a fun card to share in my Cards 4 Men series. I love the finished look of this card but I realized one thing today, I’m not real good at waiting for ink to dry…. I know, I know, take a breath and just wait!
Back with a Cards 4 Men video today colouring one of my fave images from the Les Jungles stamp set. I also want to give you the heads up, I have heaps going on this week so keep tuned!
I’m still loving the really CAS Cards 4 Men at the moment, but it is fun to add just a little interest to take it to the next level and today that is a ‘Snowy’ beer, seriously! And ‘lots of it’ and you will find out why in my video….
Most men I know (except my husband, who obviously knows better) don’t spend a lot of time perusing the birthday card that is given to them, so a great combination that works every time is to keep it CAS and to keep it fun! These Grumplings from Taylored Expressions fit the bill perfectly…
Other Supplies: Prismacolor pencils – French Grey 50,70% / Black / Dark Brown / Light Umber / Sap Green Light / Deco Peach / Cream / Carmine Red / Goldenrod / Peach Beige.
Today I have a Cards4Men video for Scrapbook Boutique playing with some great MFT products and using a monochromatic colour scheme just for fun! I decided to film as I created so you can watch the process.
Back with another fun image from the Katzlkraft’s Les Jungles set. I finally got to play with the elephant (the reason that I bought this set) and what a cutie he is, he looks so un’happy’ that it’s his birthday so I thought it was perfect to have a bright cheery card! I decided to film the process, and there were a couple of hiccoughs along the way…. but you can see those for yourself lol.
Back with another image card in my Cards4Men series and today it was time to colour the monkey. For some reason I felt that ‘gold’ was needed and I’ve had the urge to create my own gold frame for a while now and today was the day, so I decided to share that with you in my video.
Another masculine card today and it’s time to colour a Giraffe! Love love this stamp set from Katzelkraft, ALL of the animals totally make me smile and I can’t wait to colour every single one of them. I filmed as I created today so you could watch the process.
For such a very clean and simple card would you believe that I used a total of 4 stamp sets! Today is all about centering lettering stamps, with lots of Altenew goodness and a video to explain the procedure.
Today at Scrapbook Boutique I have another installation in my Cards 4 Men using Images series. I totally ‘had to have’ this Viking from Avery Elle and thought he was the perfect for a masculine design. I decided to film as I created so you could watch the process.
I have linked all the products I’ve used below otherwise head on over to Scrapbook Boutique, new goodies are being added at the store all the time. I’ll be back real soon, Hugs.
What is it about masculine cards, and why am I always running out? So for today’s video it is time again for another card in my ‘Cards 4 Men – Images’ series. And one technique that I like, particularly on men’s cards, is to use multiple sentiments. You can watch my video below to see what I mean…
Tight for Time? Then spotlight colouring is just the thing for you lol. It’s a total time saver ie. you don’t have to colour the whole image and it gives that fab pop on a card. I’ve filmed the process making this card to show just what I mean.
Today I get out the Tombow Dual Brush pens again and this time I want to ‘stretch’ them….. there are no browns and I want to colour my Penny Black Kool Kat brown, so I filmed the process so I could share with you how I overcome my dilema.
Today I’m using patterned paper in my Cards 4 Men – Using Images series. Not my usual ‘go to’ product for masculine cards but today I can share with you how I make it work.
Back today with another Cards4Men video and today it’s all about the shadow, a ‘By Request’ video (yes, this is for you Ange). I’ve used Prismacolor Pencils on this card but you could apply this technique to any kind of medium… I just find pencils are the easiest for me to blend out. But with practice, anything is possible (well, nearly lol.) Remember, after all, it’s just paper!
I had so much fun colouring this character, I’ve got a new set of Polychromos pencils, but for some reason headed to my Prismas again. I know that I am just going to have to venture there soon…
Dude
…it’s just so much is happening around here, I’m moving my room around, I have a new computer, with a new computer program, new office 365 as well as a new video editing program, so needless to say, BIG learning curves happening here on the coast, and with lots of cards to make (wish me luck)!
Other Supplies: Prismacolor Pencils – Black / French Grey 20, 90% / Warm Grey 20% / Cool Grey 70% / Burnt Ochre / Dark Brown / Jasmine / Poppy Red / Crimson Red.
Back today with the next installment in my Cards 4 Men series and I gotta say that when I make masculine cards I don’t usually tend towards paper piecing as a technique. But today I thought I would share just how you can make this work on a guys card.
So happy to be stamping and playing with some fun goodies from MFT! I’ll be back again real soon, til then, hope you find some crafty time.
Other Supplies: Prismacolor Pencils – Deco Peach / Warm Grey 20% / French Grey 70% / Cool Grey 20%. Tiny googly eye (only 465 to go…. I rarely use them, but love how they look on an image)
I know many men who adore cats as much as I do and this stamp set has some perfect images that can be used on masculine designs. I decided it was time to get out the Prismacolor Pencils again, as it’s been all watercolour and Copics round here lately.
Back with another CAS design in my Cards 4 Men series and today I am ‘Repeating’ myself… the images, that is. I show you how I find it really easy to line everything up by using my Fiskar’s Stamp Press.
Hiya, today I have the second installment in my new Cards 4 Men series and this time I am having fun with a Neat & Tangled set called ‘Woof’, these little fellas totally make me smile and I just know that one day instead of flying this little dog will be swimming… but that’ll be for another video.
Back with one of my fave series (and one of my fave ways to increase my masculine cards in my stash), and this time the focus is using ‘images’ on masculine cards! Today I thought I would start with this fun set from Waffle Flower called Tiger & Lily, and without further ado, let the series begin.
