Video : Altenew Card Kit / Layering dies Release Blog Hop & Giveaway!
Altenew have so many wonderful new products and it’s finally time to celebrate the release of the New Day Card Kit as well as the fantastic layering dies! We are all hopping along to celebrate and you should have arrived here from Flora’s fabulous blog.
Lots of inspiration in blog land today! And I have three different styles of cards to share with you myself, so scroll down to see them and the video that I have made showcasing the New Day Card Kit as well as to find out how you can WIN!
I decided it would be fun to create a ‘faux embossed’ background using die cuts from the Inline Alpha Die set. This little cutie is all dressed up for a party from Bunny Love and a glittery cupcake from Way Too Sweet.
Every time I looked at the Layered Cityscape Cover Dies I could only see a rainbow of buildings, so I just had to get that out of my system.
I did ‘stack’ a few of the die cuts on top of each other to add some dimension and the colouring was done with Tombows.
My final card uses the new Altenew New Day Card Kit and this is jam packed full of fun, I decided to create a video showing this kit and the process of making this card (as well as a quick peek at the kit).

My Favorite Santa’s Chrissy!
Lots of photos today so I won’t talk for long. This is a publication share from the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft magazine and I just love how these cards turned out and they were a blast to make too! (ps I was lucky, one of them made the magazine cover too, sweet!).

Video : Freckled Fawn ‘Carnival’ Kit June 2015!
I got to play with some amazing embellies from the June Freckled Fawn ‘OHDEERME’ kit. It’s called ‘Carnival’ and it really is just that, heaps of fun! And instead of just doing a review I thought it would actually be fun to make a card as well. And I filmed the process so you could watch.

Addicted to Die Cutting – A new Mini Series (video)!
I’m so excited to be sharing with you another video mini series starting today. I’ve decided to focus on Die Cutting as it has sooo many fun and versatile techniques, and lets face it, we have invested in them so we might as well use them!
