When the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine asked if I wanted to be part of a Stamper’s Challenge that involved me playing with Altenew’s Painted Butterflies I couldn’t reply ‘Yes’ quick enough lol. And I wasn’t disappointed, I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed getting all inky with these stamps, they are Brilliant!

Keeping it real simple for this month’s entry to Avery Elle’s Embossing challenge, in fact it’s just a little difficult to see the embossed part of my card, but it’s those fabulous double pierced rectangles that I can’t get enough of and I used one of these to create a subtle border for my scene.

My first play with some Reverse Confetti products and they are sooo much fun. I was asked to create two cards for the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine for their Stamper’s Challenge and here is what I came up with. My fave would of course have to be the pink and orange card… definitely one of my ‘go to’ colour combo’s at the moment.

Not the easiest card to photograph, but I hope you get the general idea. Have a great week!
Today I’m sharing a card that was published with the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine where the call was to mask a space for sentiments. A little different to my usual style, but I really did have fun creating the sentiment panel and the matching embossed border.

I never really did get into the ‘feather’ phase and when the call came from the Australian Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine for this as inspiration I initially wrote it off… and while I was waiting for some texture paste to dry, I remembered that I won the Thataway collection from Studio Calico a little while back and it had some die cut feathers, and then I found the stitched thingys and then I just started adding stuff and all of a sudden I’d made a card that I hadn’t intended to do in a style that is very different to my usual, so go figure, I had some fun! Then my texture paste was dry and I was back to the card I had originally started lol.

I’ll be back tomorrow with another video! I’m in the middle of 4 days off and have more friends visiting so please excuse my lack of blog visits, Hugs,

Oops, I forgot to share this one… I was meant to be doing soooo many other things but I couldn’t help myself and before I knew it I had created this card, it was one of those that I couldn’t get out of my head until it was made.
Loving the smooshing but I also thought it would be fun to blend up different Copic colours and I really like the rainbow effect, perfect for this kid’s card. Also did you notice…. I used a ‘googly’ eye, yayyy, only 462 to go lol.

I have a really quick publication share tonight as I’m totally enjoying my holidays and haven’t even had a chance to make any cards yet! I also just got back from a visit to my brother and SIL in Gladstone (only a 8 hour drive away) but it was so nice to see them, we ate way too much they have the best Indian restaurant across the road and to be honest it’s worth the drive lol.
So I thought I would share this publication for The Australian Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft magazine where I was asked to use one die… four ways and this is what I came up with using some fab MFT products (my apologies in advance for the photo heavy post).
