Today I have a cat sympathy card to share, I just love this sweet image from Tiddly Inks and think it’s perfect for such a sad occasion.

While I’ve got you here I thought I would also share some pics of the flowers in our garden, I would love to say that it’s my green thumb, but I’d be lying, it’s all my husbands hard work that keeps our yard and vege garden blooming.

We’ve been sooo busy lately, just got back from the Hunter Valley (a wine district near Sydney) where we had the most amazing time celebrating a friend’s 40th birthday and this weekend it’s off to Rockhampton, an 8 hour road trip each way…. I really hope to find some crafty time very soon (cross my fingers maybe next week things will return to some kinda normality lol.
Other Supplies: Heart Sprinkle from ABS Copics – W0,2. T0.
Welcome back for a new colour challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps. I thought these colours screamed for flowers but after looking at them a little longer… they would also be perfect on a Christmas design too.
This card was supposed to be a OLC (one layer card) but alas after a little ink mishap…. on the very first stamp I ended up paper piecing the bird, so maybe it’s a OL’ishC.

Today I’m back with another tutorial for Scrapbook Boutique and I decided to use an inlaid wood technique using this fabulous new Memory Box die called Gorgeous Gardenia Outline.
Today I am having some fun and getting inky for Scrapbook Boutique! I’ve linked all of the products that I used below otherwise you can head on over to Scrapbook Boutique where they have a massive SALE on at the moment…. need I say more.
Another quick share, I should be sitting here making DT cards but I really wanted to play with Craft Dash #25 so I did (it’s only 10 minutes after all). I thought it was also the perfect opportunity to combine the Button It Challenge at A Blog Named Hero, where I haven’t had a chance to join in for yonks. Anyhoo I had the camera out so I decided to film as I went, hope you like it.
We’d absolutely love you to join us, all you need to do is create a clean & simple (CAS) card using the sketch and add it to the link at the CTS blog You can find all the deets HERE. Thanks so much for stopping by.
Exciting news! AnnaBelle Stamps has some amazing new sets just about to be released…. but for today I’m afraid it’s only a ‘sneak peek’. But here’s a hint, if you pop around all the the other DT girls blogs you will see even more (wink)!

Welcome back to another tutorial for Scrapbook Boutique. Today I’ve made a card using a beautiful Orchid die cut from Cheery Lynn Designs, I thought this was perfect for a Sympathy card, isn’t is nice to have some of these on hand, it’s so not easy to make them last minute. I have listed all the products I’ve used below or you can head over to Scrapbook Boutique and take a peek yourself. Happy Papercrafting!
I can’t believe that I am already back with another post for Muse! Lately I seem to be stamping with anything but black, even when I’m colouring in. I love the subtle look of the green stamped leaves when they are then coloured in green, I’m not sure why I would even think to stamp the flower in brown and colour it purple, originally I think it was going to be pink, but it seemed to turn out okay anyway…. I’m being as clear as mud, but I’m sure you ‘get my drift’ lol.
I can’t wait to see how this card inspires you!

This time I even worked out how to copy my timer, oh, it’s really small computer steps for some people (i.e. me) lol. Thanks for stopping by, I’ll be back real soon with some more DT posts.

Why don’t you head on over to Stamp Embellish Create, I have a video and a really easy fun technique to share with you today using a die from AnnaBelle Stamps! And….. you can join in the fun by loading up your card to the gallery, but don’t forget to use the tag tt039.
Here is a card I made for an amazing woman whose husband died after a long illness. She is such a fun bubbly person that a ‘normal’ sympathy card would just not do. I was inspired by the ‘chair’ image from Jay Gee’s current challenge and used a sketch (yes, you heard me right) from the Hero Arts August contest blog. Nearly finished my week of night duty…. I feel like a walking zombie, topped up with tea and pepsi for added fuel!
I promise that I am trying to keep up with my homework…. working 5 days a week, just makes it a little harder! Enough excuses, here is my card for Day 5. This technique is super fun, thank you Jennifer, and I totally adore all the shimmery goodness. Totally naughty, I’ve had my Pearl Glimmer Mist for at least a year and this may be the first time I used it! You will notice that I did use my distressing tool again. That’s twice in one week, it will probably need a rest now!
I was inspired by Kathy’s Lily Pad Palette Challenge as I wanted something a little brighter than usually used on a sympathy card. I’ve got to say that these aren’t my favourite cards to make, but are given for a wonderful purpose. It’s so nice to think that someone is thinking of you when your whole world can feel like it is tumbling down.
So here is a card I made for the Scrapbook Boutique Blog. I have been playing with Hero Arts – Delicate Leaf Clusters and am in love!! This is such a versatile set of stamps, they can be used to create a background, as the focal point on the card or even just to decorate a flower, and of course, they stamp beautifully! Evelyn has heaps of new Hero Arts stock in at the moment, it makes it hard to choose, you should go have a look for yourself at Scrapbook Boutique. I have linked the supplies that I have used below and you can visit Scrapbook Boutique Blog for a tutorial on how to make this card.
Today I thought I’d have a bit of fun with ink… and I definitely got it everywhere! I am now walking around with green fingertips… but it could be worse, I could have glitter all over my face… actually, I probably do! I thought I would join this week’s CASE Study Challenge as Jill’s card looked irresistable! I was inspired by the basic layout as well as creating my own embossed background. The muted colours that I used made me think this would make a nice sympathy card (I don’t plan on needing one just at the moment, but it is always handy to have one ‘ready to go’).

I have been meaning to make some pet sympathy cards for a while now, I think they are a great idea and they are hard to find. Of course I didn’t make them until today when I needed one for a work friend. Her cat has been very sick recently and finally lost her battle. I tried to make this card a little cheerful, this digital stamp is just too cute & I hope it makes her smile (my cat is getting lots of cuddles today…. much to her disgust).
