These ballerinas are so sweet, and I know it’s a bit cliche, but I just had to colour them in pink (just to get it out of my system… next time I’ll try different colours, I promise)

I adore this fab sentiment set from Penny Black but sometimes I can really struggle to make the ‘larger’ style sentiments work on a clean & simple design. So today I thought I would share with you a fun way to use them, and have filmed the process so you can watch.

Some Things Really Do Get Better with Age!
I have a quick card to share today and I kept it clean & simple. Although I did consider some design paper for the background, but everything I tried just didn’t do it for me, so she is boldly sitting on her own direct on the card front, love her style!
Things really do get better with age and somehow I think this Penny Black girl really knows how to party, wouldn’t you agree!

Quick & Easy Penny Black Birthday Cat!
Today I have a quick and easy card to share using some fab new stamps from Penny Black. I always adore these sweet cats and this time I coloured him with some Copics (for some reason I often tend to use Inktense pencils).
After shuffling around heaps of coloured design paper for the sentiment window I settled on black, not my original plan but it definitely makes for a bold statement…………….. do your cards kind of ‘evolve’ too?.
